Recipe Β· Sleep & insomnia
Turmeric sleep elixir
By Naturopath Annabel Murray
A warm, golden drink to sip before bed. Turmeric and cinnamon have anti-inflammatory properties that may help reduce stress and promote relaxation. Honey provides a natural source of glucose, which can help the brain produce melatonin β the hormone that regulates sleepβwake cycles. Ginger may help ease restlessness, and nutmeg is a gentle, traditional relaxant.
